Cleaning Vintage Frame With Cloth

Warmest welcome to the journal! Today's entry is all about best practices for keeping your upcycled vintage frames in beautiful condition as the days and months go by. To ensure your treasures remain vibrant and elegant, I’d love to share some gentle care tips for maintaining your frames and glass.

When it comes to caring for your vintaged framed art, a soft cloth to gently dust or wipe them down is recommended. For thicker dust build up or spills, lightly dampening the cloth with water will help to freshen things up. Gentle care is key when it comes to tidying your frame, so the less elbow grease needed, the better!

To clean the glass, a non-ammonia glass cleaner works wonders (for something homemade check out my natural glass cleaner recipe here!). Simply spray your chosen cleaner onto a microfibre cloth and buff the glass to a lovely shine. Remember to avoid spraying directly onto the glass to prevent any cleaner from running between the frame and the glass, ensuring both your frame and artwork stay in pristine condition.

Hopefully this post offered a few helpful hints about keeping your pieces in beautiful condition! If you've still got questions, let's start a conversation at hello@ardithdecor.com.au or send me a DM on Insta!

Can't wait to catch up again soon!

Amie xx
