Founded by local photographer Amie, Ardith Decor specialises in creating unique art prints encased in locally sourced vintage frames, collected throughout Melbourne. Each piece is carefully curated from Amie's collection of original photography, captured about her travels around Victoria. Ardith Decor was created to be a haven for those who value the beauty of simplicity, the charm of the past, and the joy of creating a space that is as unique as it is inviting. Ardith's mission is to help you craft a home that is a reflection of your unique story. For the lovers of a candlelit evening, the soft glow of a vintage lamp, and the gentle rustle of a well-loved book, each printed and framed piece is inspired by the slow life. Hello lovely souls! I'd personally like to welcome you to Ardith's online home and sincerely thank you for stopping by, I couldn't be more grateful. To introduce you to the mind and passion behind Ardith, I'd love to share a little about myself and more importantly the "why" behind my choice to run a small business specialising in quality prints and beautiful vintage framing.
After years of photographing images for small businesses, large corporations, weddings, couples and singles, now felt like the perfect time to temporarily allow my camera to leave my hands and fulfil another dream that has been weighing on my heart since I was young. Providing considered, timeless art prints for lovers of the quiet life, those who would rather stay home and journal or potter in the garden, those who take life at a slower pace to live more intentionally. Growing up in the very outskirts of Melbourne, I’ve always been drawn to this quieter way of living and with our newest little member of the family joining us, being present in the moment has become more important than ever.
Creative expression will forever be an enormous part of my life, the joy of sharing beauty is something I will never grow tired of. With that said, I offer you this, to accept the invitation of beauty to enter your home and hang from your walls, giving joy and comfort to you in this season, and every season to come.
