Embracing natural solutions in your home can sometimes feel like a tedious job, but rest assured this glass cleaning recipe for your framed artworks (and windows!) is super easy, super affordable and best of all, toxin free.

To create your own natural glass cleaner, you’ll need just a few ingredients:

  • ½ cup of filtered water

  • 1 ½ cups of distilled white vinegar

  • 10 - 15 drops of your favourite essential oils

Simply mix together all three ingredients into a glass spray bottle and give it a little shake to combine.

This combination is not only great for cleaning glass but helps cut through grime effortlessly and can also be used in your kitchen, bathroom and of course, your windows.

If you enjoy bright, uplifting aromas, citrus scents are a wonderful choice, filling your home with a fresh and invigorating fragrance. Alternatively, you can opt for more calming scents like spearmint or lavender. The combinations are endless so feel free to create your own unique blend too!

Using this homemade glass cleaner is a lovely way to care for your Ardith frames, plus you’ll enjoy the peace of mind that comes from using natural ingredients. Just remember when cleaning your frames to use this combination on the glass only!

Extra benefits of making your own glass cleaner:

  • Much cheaper than store bought solutions

  • Decreased waste as you can use the same refillable spray bottle

  • No artificial fragrances

  • No toxic ingredients

  • A beautiful smelling home

Hopefully this recipe finds its way into your cleaning arsenal, and of course if you've still got questions, let me know at hello@ardithdecor.com.au or send me a DM on Insta!

Can't wait to catch up again soon!
